    • Srdjan Saper has been active in advertising business for more than 30 years. He started his career as a popular music star, and then he became a marketing and communication expert and a successful entrepreneur. Srdjan created I&F McCann Grupa, one of the leading communications systems operating in 12 markets of Southeast Europe and Nordics, which employs more than 600 talented professionals.

      ADVERTISING AND BUSINESS CAREER

      After an artistic career, as a founder and member of popular rock’n’roll band VIS IDOLI (‘The Idols’), he entered the world of advertising. He worked as a Creative Director, a TV Commercials Producer and the Director for Ogilvy & Mather, Saatchi & Saatchi, SM Delo, Borba, Idols & Friends, agencies. Srdjan Saper, among others, created many very successful advertising campaigns. In 1997, Srđan signed a contract with McCann Worldgroup and opened agencies in Serbia and Macedonia. In the following years, Srdjan established McCann agencies in other countries. Today, Srdjan Saper is the founder and chairman of I&F McCann Grupa, the leading marketing communications system in Southeast Europe (covering 8 countries Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Albania, Bulgaria) and Nordics (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland) and employs more than 600 talented professionals. Srdjan Saper and I&F McCann Grupa are the 2nd largest affiliate partner of McCann Worldgroup and IPG.

      BUSINESS COMMUNITY

      Srdjan Saper has initiated numerous projects in the field of culture and communication. He is the author of the project to improve Serbia’s image, "La Serbie original version", which was launched in November 2000 in Paris, with the aim to present the spirit of Serbia after political changes and its democratization. He was one of the creators of various very successful election campaigns in Serbia and the region. During his career, he served on the boards of various business and public institutions. Among others, Srdjan Saper is a member of the International Advertising Association (IAA), the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) etc. Srdjan Saper received a Lifetime Achievement Award for his creative contribution to the development of marketing, awarded by the Association for market communications (UEPS). As an active participant of the business and advertising community, he was also awarded with several prestigious awards. Srdjan holds a graduate teaching position at the University of Arts in Belgrade and he is often invited as a lecturer and key-note speaker at various international conferences on marketing and communication.

      Srdjan graduated Film and TV Direction at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.

      He enjoys crime novels, poetry  and Leonard Cohen. Srdjan is also a real connoisseur of history and music. In the public life he is known as front man of music group VIS IDOLI as well as an actor in popular film „Strangler against Strangler“.

    • Darko Lukić has 20 years of media and general management experience. Across SEE he is recognized as a strong media strategist and negotiator, with international background that includes working on both the media and agency side.

      He started his career at New World Publishing Inc. in Prague in 1996, and after 3 years joined the same company in Budapest. In 2005 Darko was one of the founders of CEE Business Media, also in Budapest.

      Darko has an MBA degree from the UK Open University.  

      Throughout his career at UM, Darko has been involved with key agency clients and some of the biggest media vendors, responsible for growing UM across the region.

      He is known for his energy, addiction to success and the dynamic world of media, and is proud of all the success UM has achieved in the last 10 years, from entering new markets, to wining new clients, introducing new services….

      Darko likes to emphasize that he feels extremely privileged and proud to be working with the amazing UM team from all the SEE markets.

      He spends his free time with his family and friends. He also loves the theater and cinema, and is a passionate follower of sport events, especially football and basketball.

    • Katarina Kostić is a media and communications specialist with over 15 years of experience in the industry. She joined UM Beograd after completing a MA course in Cultural & Media Studies at the University of London’s Goldsmiths College.

      Ever since the revolution in the media begun 15 years ago, her love and curiosity for media and communications industry, consumers, integration and media role in overall brands’ and business’ success has grown.  

      Katarina is a key member of the agency’s new business & strategy team, and her deep knowledge of the industry is invaluable to UM’s international and local clients.

      She specializes in communications & media strategies, insights & research, while her main focuses are growth and ongoing development of media services at I&F McCann Grupa.

      Katarina is very proud of her ability to recognize trends, as well as her will to do things differently and in a better way. She recognized the need to build the communications planning practice within SEE media team, integrate digital and offline, and push for more integration with the creative teams.

      She is a graduated art historian, a trained florist designer, and a mum of two amazing kids, who loves and enjoys all that the world has to offer.

    • Biljana Kolakovic has more than 17 years of experience in the communications industry, starting as a media planner in McCann’s media department. After graduating from the Faculty of International Management, she joined the agency in 1999.

      Biljana has vast experience in media analysis, media buying and optimization of media investments, strategic planning, project management, but is mostly recognized for her leadership skills and people management. She led the agency in its switch from traditional media planning to integrated communication agency with consumer in the center, ensuring that the UM team gets all the knowledge and tools for the creation and implementation of engaging brands’ stories that spread across all media.

      The most important project she is very proud of is the expansion of the UM brand across the entire Adria-Balkan region, and enthusiastic work on integrating teams from different markets. One of the biggest successes was wining L’Oréal media planning and buying tender on all markets in Adria-Balkan region, where UM was a clear choice for the client, due to an optimized smart offer for consolidating the management of their business in the region.

      She spends her free time with family and friends, mastering her culinary expertise.

    • Mario has over 10 years of experience in the communication industry and in 2012 he became a member of the UM family. He was naturally attracted to media business since he was always fascinated with the phenomenon of media and the influence it has on modern day culture and society. At UM he further developed his skills in media research, connections planning, media buying and negotiations, while working on some of the biggest UM clients, like Vip, L’Oreal…

      One of his biggest achievements is the successful take-over of the leading position at UM Zagreb in 2014, along with the consolidation of the team and strengthening the team spirit. Along the process the agency kept its stable position on the market, by retaining key clients and winning new ones, which helped keep a strong tradition of UM on the Croatian market.

      He is also proud of many local industry awards UM Zagreb has been rewarded with in the last years, and is privileged to work on a daily basis with his experienced team at UM.

      Outside of the office you can find him at a good rock concert or playing basketball, always in the company of his friends and family.

      His favorite place in the world is the hug of his two sons, if possible with a view of the sunset by the sea.

      She is proud of the fact that in a short time, UM Sofia has become one of the leading media agencies in the market, focused on skills, knowledge and people. The team of 17 media experts has won a portfolio of clients from various product categories.

      She spends her free time enjoying exotic journeys, mostly exploring her favorite continent - Asia. She speaks Hebrew and is a book lover.

    • Nermina has 9 years of experience in the communications business. She has worked in McCann and UM since she graduated Marketing at the School of Economics and Business in Sarajevo.

      Her experience and knowledge in strategic planning, media buying, online strategies development and social media management are the result of dedicated work and successful project management for many clients, such as The Coca-Cola Company, Carlsberg, Podravka and MasterCard.

      One of the key projects Nermina successfully implemented was the win of The Coca Cola Company account in Bosnia in 2012. Since then, the agency won several global and regional clients and positioned itself as one of the leading agencies in the market.

      Photography and painting are something she loves to do in her free time. She is proud to say that her 10 year plan for the future written during her studies has officially been achieved and she is ready for the next 10. Out of the office she enjoys the company of little blue-eyed boy and in the office she enjoys doing the best job in the world.

    • Roza joined UM in 2003. As a graduated engineer of technology, at UM she had the opportunity to implement all of her previous knowledge and skills in organization, communication, negotiation, administration, project and employee management, as well as data analyses and client service.

      During the years, she worked on various positions in UM and across all key agency client teams, which resulted in her becoming an inspirational team leader with successful management of project teams and implementation of business innovations.

      During her career at UM, she played a major role in the agency’s development by bringing fresh and innovative thinking, encouraging employee’s education and innovative approach in engaging consumers and bringing clients’ satisfaction to a higher level.

      Roza was part of the team who won the first ever Macedonian Golden Lion Award at the Cannes Lions Festival in 2009, for the public awareness campaign for testicular cancer, „Check them!“.

      Roza adores travelling, nature, architecture and landscape photography, but also making new friendships. During the years she enjoyed her experiences in amateur acting, music and writing.

      He was also a member of the winning team at McCANN’s EMEA ACADEMY in London 2010.

      He is a former member of the national wrestling team of Montenegro who spends his free time enjoying music, TED talks, movie marathons and cycling.

      The CV of Suela includes more than 13 years of experience in the communication industry, working with international and local clients such as: The Coca – Cola Company, Albtelecom, MasterCard, L’Oreal, Trans Adriatic Pipeline, Intesa Sanpaolo Bank, etc. Her role and vision is central in the management and administration of the agency’s strategic position, growth and NB policy.

      She has a strategic and analytic mind, has great communication and negotiation skills and buddhistic patience and calmness, sharp attention for the details .
